Editorial Policy
Every guide on EarlyGuides is produced by the EarlyGuides Editorial Team. This page explains how our guides are made so you know what to expect and how to weigh the information.
How we research
We draw on official game data, in-game systems, patch notes, developer documentation, and established community knowledge. Game popularity and release signals come from public sources such as the Steam catalog and SteamSpy, which we use to decide which games to cover and when.
How we use AI
We use AI tooling to help draft and structure guides at scale. AI is a drafting aid, not the final author: our editorial team sets the structure, checks claims for accuracy, and is responsible for what gets published. We do not publish unreviewed machine output as fact.
Accuracy and corrections
Games change. Patches rebalance builds, shift tier lists, and rework systems, so guides can drift out of date between updates. If you spot something wrong or outdated, please tell us via our Contact page. We correct verified errors and note the updated date on each guide.
Freshness
Each guide shows a published or last-updated date near the top. We prioritize updates for actively played and frequently patched titles.
Independence
EarlyGuides is independent and unofficial. We are not paid by game developers or publishers to cover, rank, or rate their games, and coverage decisions are editorial.
