Bow of the Last Guardian: A tier 95 two handed bow assembled at 95 Fletching from three Zamorak, Lord of Chaos drops.

Meta Analysis

The current meta in RuneScape centers on Necromancy as a fourth combat style and Revolution and Full Manual ability bars. Builds that leverage both systems outperform those that focus on only one. Our combat guide explains these interactions in depth.

What's strong right now:

  • Necromancer with Death guard is the benchmark. Everything else is measured against it.
  • Conjures, Necrosis and Residual Souls builds are gaining ground as players find new combinations.
  • Ranged remains essential for learning hard content. See the boss guide.

What's underrated:

  • Melee is consistently overlooked despite being the most flexible option.
  • Fractured Staff of Armadyl offers excellent performance for its investment level.

What's overhyped:

  • Pure Skiller builds. High ceiling but the consistency isn't there for most players.
