Arena Breakout: Infinite Weapons Guide — Best Weapons Ranked

Complete Arena Breakout: Infinite weapons guide. Every weapon ranked with stats, best builds, and how to get them.

Arena Breakout: Infinite is Tencent's PC extraction shooter directly competing with Escape from Tarkov, bringing the mobile Arena Breakout formula to a full PC experience with improved graphics, larger maps, and deeper weapon modding. The core loop — gear up, enter a map, loot valuable items, survive against AI and other players, and extract with your haul — is enhanced by a realistic medical system and granular weapon customization. The game entered Early Access in 2025 with strong gunplay mechanics and a more accessible approach to the extraction genre compared to Tarkov's notorious learning curve.

Your choice of weapons defines your damage output and playstyle. This guide ranks every major option, explains what makes each one strong, and tells you which builds they pair best with.

Weapons Rankings

WeaponTierBest ForNotes
AK-47SAssault BuildHigh damage per shot with significant recoil.
M4A1AAssault Build, Team PlayerLower damage than the AK but dramatically better recoil control, especially when modded.

MP5BLoot Goblin, Pistol Runner (upgrade)Compact 9mm SMG with low recoil and fast fire rate.
Glock 17BPistol RunnerStandard 9mm pistol costing almost nothing.

S-Tier: AK-47

High damage per shot with significant recoil. The 7.62 round kills in fewer hits than 5.56 weapons but horizontal recoil makes full-auto inaccurate beyond 50 meters. Modding with a recoil pad and compensator tames it considerably.

A-Tier: M4A1

Lower damage than the AK but dramatically better recoil control, especially when modded. The 5.56 round has faster velocity for easier ranging. Best all-round assault rifle for players who prioritize accuracy over raw damage.

A-Tier: SVD Sniper

Weapons Progression Path

The order you should acquire weapons as you progress:

  1. Starting gear → Enough to clear Farm
  2. M4A1 → Your first real upgrade, available early
  3. SVD Sniper → Mid-game upgrade with good scaling
  4. AK-47 → Best-in-slot, aim for this by late game
  5. Upgrade to max → The power spike from max upgrades is enormous

Weapons Tips

  • Always upgrade your primary weapon before diversifying — one strong option beats three mediocre ones.
  • Match your weapons to your build's stat priorities for maximum scaling.
  • Insure your gear before every raid. Insurance returns your items if no other player extracts with them (AI scavs don't take insured items). It's cheap relative to replacement cost.
  • Check our tier list for how weapons rankings affect overall build effectiveness.
