Halo Infinite Crafting Guide — Resources, Recipes & Priorities

Halo Infinite crafting guide covering resource gathering, upgrade priorities, crafting recipes, and efficiency tips.

Halo Infinite brought the franchise back to its arena shooter roots with a free-to-play multiplayer component running on the Slipspace Engine. The sandbox revolves around map control, weapon spawns, and equipment pickups like the Grappleshot, Repulsor, and Thruster. Seasonal updates have added Forge mode and custom game browser, massively expanding replay value. The game rewards precise gunplay and team coordination over twitch reflexes, making the BR75 the backbone of competitive play.

Resource management and crafting determine how quickly your power scales. This guide covers what to prioritize, where to farm, and how to avoid wasting resources on the wrong upgrades.

Upgrade Path

Early Game (Live Fire — Recharge)

  1. Upgrade your starting weapons to functional level
  2. Craft basic defensive gear
  3. Save specialty materials — you'll need them later
  4. Focus on S7 Sniper once accessible

Mid Game (Streets)

  1. Push S7 Sniper to mid-level upgrades
  2. Start collecting materials for BR75 Battle Rifle
  3. Craft situational consumables for boss fights
  4. Upgrade build-specific gear pieces

Late Game (Bazaar — Aquarius)

  1. Max out BR75 Battle Rifle — this is your top priority
  2. Complete your build's core gear set
  3. Craft endgame consumables
  4. Optional: upgrade secondary weapons for variety

Crafting Mistakes to Avoid

  1. Spreading upgrades across multiple weapons — Focus one weapon to max before diversifying.
  2. Hoarding materials — Use them. The game provides enough if you farm efficiently.
  3. Upgrading the wrong gear — Check our builds guide before investing.
  4. Ignoring Streets farming — This area has the best resource-to-time ratio in mid-game.
  5. Crafting consumables too early — Save specialty materials for late-game recipes.

Resource Efficiency Tips

  • The perfect BR kill is 3 bursts to the body followed by 1 burst to the head — this is faster and more consistent than going for headshots on full shields since headshot bonus only applies to unshielded targets.
  • Farm Streets during mid-game for the best return on time
  • Check the walkthrough to know when each resource becomes available
  • Match your farming route to your build — some classes farm faster in certain areas
