Konami brought Duel Links to Steam on 16 November 2017, and it runs the Speed Duel format rather than the full trading card game. Both players start on 4000 Life Points with three Monster Zones and three Spell and Trap Zones, decks hold 20 to 30 cards, there is no Main Phase 2, and each duellist brings one character Skill alongside the deck. That compression is why a match lasts about five minutes and why cards that would be fringe on paper decide duels here.

Boss fights are where Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links tests everything you've learned. This guide covers strategies for bosses across all areas, organized by progression order. For general combat techniques, see our combat guide.
