Royal Pickaxe: Breaks rocks and mining nodes for ores and gems. Its progression comes from potions: Warmth of Summer handles smaller ice, and Cold of Winter from Elsa's level six friendship quest opens the large ice in Frosted Heights.
Royal Watering Can: Waters crops and, once Merlin upgrades it during The Final Trial, clears both small and large mushroom patches, including the ones blocking bridges.
Royal Shovel: Digs planting holes, fills pits, and opens the Sparkling Holes that drop Dream Shards and Night Shards. Those shards feed a large share of the crafting recipes.
Royal Fishing Rod: Fishes at surface ripples, which come in white, blue and gold in rising order of rarity. Unlike the other Royal Tools it cannot be upgraded; potions instead reroll white ripples into gold.
