1. PlayStyles and PlayStyles+
There are 34 PlayStyles split across scoring, passing, ball control, defending, physical and goalkeeping. The plus tier of each is a stronger version, and only a small number of players in the game carry one.

2. HyperMotionV animation

3. Ultimate Team Evolutions

4. Chemistry links
Players earn up to three chemistry points from shared club, league and nation links, for a squad maximum of 33. Women footballers link by league and nation as normal, and to men who play for their affiliated club.

5. Custom tactics and player instructions
Custom tactics control build up speed, chance creation, defensive style, width and depth, while player instructions handle individual jobs like stay forward or cut inside. Five tactic slots can be swapped mid match with the D pad.
