Euro Truck Simulator 2 Equipment Guide — Best Equipment Ranked

Complete Euro Truck Simulator 2 equipment guide. Every equipment option ranked with stats, best builds, and how to get them.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is the unexpectedly meditative truck driving simulation that has captivated millions of players since 2012. Drive accurately modeled trucks across a scaled recreation of Europe, delivering cargo between cities while managing your growing trucking company. The game's appeal lies in its relaxing flow state — following real traffic laws, admiring the scenery, and listening to internet radio while covering vast distances. With over 20 map DLC packs expanding coverage to Scandinavia, Italy, Iberia, the Balkans, and beyond, the virtual Europe is enormous. Steam Workshop mods add thousands more routes, trucks, and features. The multiplayer mod TruckersMP adds online convoys with thousands of simultaneous drivers.

Your choice of equipment defines your damage output and playstyle. This guide ranks every major option, explains what makes each one strong, and tells you which builds they pair best with.

  4. Scania R Series → Best-in-slot, aim for this by late game
  5. Upgrade to max → The power spike from max upgrades is enormous

  • Match your equipment to your build's stat priorities for maximum scaling.
  • Start with Quick Jobs (company-provided truck) until you can afford to buy your own truck. Quick Jobs build experience and capital with zero financial risk.
