Gearing Tips
- Invest in your primary equipment first, since it gives the biggest power spike. See our weapons guide for rankings.
- Train the core support skills before chasing a bigger hull. Capacitor Systems Operation, the shield and armor compensations, Navigation and the fitting skills raise the performance of every ship you will ever fly, while a battleship skill only helps in a battleship.
- High-sec is safe from most aggression but not all of it. Suicide gankers work the Uedama style choke points on the main trade routes, so set autopilot to avoid known gank systems and never autopilot a loaded hauler through them.
- Don't spread upgrade resources across multiple builds until endgame
