Feed the Cups is a co-op drink shop game from the two person studio Vambear Games, published by IndieArk and in Early Access since 20 February 2024. You stock ingredients, take orders, build drinks, mop up and fix equipment while a pressure meter climbs every time you fumble something. The roguelite layer sits on top: runs hand you devil ability and recipe cards in nine colours that combine into different shop setups. The Early Access build covers 4 chapters and 16 levels with 3 to 4 difficulty tiers each, and the developers list it as about 60 percent complete with at least 8 chapters planned. It supports 2 player local split screen and 2 to 4 player online, and it is best understood as a card driven cousin of the shift based kitchen co-op genre.
Boss fights are where Feed the Cups tests everything you've learned. This guide covers strategies for bosses across all areas, organized by progression order. For general combat techniques, see our combat guide.

Juice themed maps Bosses
Area difficulty: Easy Recommended level: Early chapters, 3 to 4 difficulty tiers per level Recommended build: Ingredient Prepper with Coffee machine
Strategy
The first bosses teach core combat mechanics. Focus on learning patterns rather than dealing damage. Mistakes push a pressure value upward rather than costing you a flat score penalty. This is your primary tool here.
Key tips:
- Don't rush. Learn the attack patterns first.
- Use Pressure meter to create safe windows.
- Coffee machine is enough to handle everything here.
Instant drink maps Bosses
Area difficulty: Moderate Recommended level: Early to mid chapters Recommended build: Ingredient Prepper with Coffee machine
Strategy
Early game bosses test your understanding of Devil ability and recipe cards. Players who skipped learning this mechanic will hit a wall here.
Key tips:
- Devil ability and recipe cards is critical for these fights.
- Farm Coffee machine upgrades if you're struggling.
- Consider switching to Ingredient Prepper if your current setup isn't working.
Coffee shop maps Bosses
Area difficulty: Hard Recommended level: Mid chapters Recommended build: Order Taker with Juice station
Strategy
Mid-game bosses are the major skill check. They combine multiple mechanics and punish players who rely on a single strategy.
Key tips:
- You need both Pressure meter and Order and drink assembly mastery.
- Juice station makes a significant difference. Get it before attempting these.
- See our combat guide for advanced techniques.
Tea house maps Bosses
Area difficulty: Very Hard Recommended level: Later chapters of the Early Access build Recommended build: Order Taker with Juice station
Strategy
Late-game bosses are serious challenges. Build optimization matters as much as mechanical skill.
Key tips:
- Make sure your build is fully optimized.
- Juice station at max upgrade is recommended.
- Study each boss's attack patterns. Most have 2-3 phases.
The house hub Bosses
Area difficulty: Extreme Recommended level: All stages, between every run Recommended build: Order Taker with Juice station
Strategy
Endgame bosses are the ultimate test. They require mastery of all combat systems and an optimized build.
Key tips:
- Top-tier build with best-in-slot gear is mandatory.
- Master every mechanic. See our combat guide.
- These fights reward patience and pattern recognition above all else.
General Boss Tips
- Learn before you fight: Spend your first attempt observing attack patterns. Don't try to win on attempt one.
- Match your build: Some bosses favor certain builds over others. Don't be afraid to switch.
- Upgrade your equipment: A max-upgraded Juice station trivializes fights that seem impossible with weaker gear.
- Use Pressure meter: The core combat mechanic is your best defensive tool in every boss fight.
- Check the walkthrough: Our walkthrough tells you when you're ready for each boss.
