Feed the Cups is a co-op drink shop game from the two person studio Vambear Games, published by IndieArk and in Early Access since 20 February 2024. You stock ingredients, take orders, build drinks, mop up and fix equipment while a pressure meter climbs every time you fumble something. The roguelite layer sits on top: runs hand you devil ability and recipe cards in nine colours that combine into different shop setups. The Early Access build covers 4 chapters and 16 levels with 3 to 4 difficulty tiers each, and the developers list it as about 60 percent complete with at least 8 chapters planned. It supports 2 player local split screen and 2 to 4 player online, and it is best understood as a card driven cousin of the shift based kitchen co-op genre.
This walkthrough takes you from your first session to endgame content. Each phase has specific goals, priorities, and milestones. New to the game? Start with our beginner's guide first.

Phase 1: Getting Started (Juice themed maps)
The shop layouts built around the juice recipe family. Early Access ships 4 chapters and 16 levels total, each chapter carrying its own map style and beverage theme.
Level/Difficulty: Early chapters, 3 to 4 difficulty tiers per level Key Rewards: Juice recipe cards, first house upgrade money
What to Do in Juice themed maps
- Learn Pressure meter. Mistakes push a pressure value upward rather than costing you a flat score penalty. Spend your first session getting comfortable with this.
- Pick Ingredient Prepper as your starting build. See our builds guide for why.
- The pressure meter, not the clock, is what usually ends a run. Fixing one spill immediately costs less than serving two extra drinks and then dealing with three problems at once.
- Acquire your first equipment upgrade: Coffee machine or whatever's available.
- Clear all main content before moving on.
Phase 1 Checklist
- Understand Pressure meter fundamentals
- Ingredient Prepper selected and functional
- Juice themed maps main content cleared
- Ready for Instant drink maps
Phase 2: Early Game (Instant drink maps)
Layouts themed around the instant drink category. Faster individual drinks means higher customer throughput and a pressure meter that punishes hesitation more sharply.
Level/Difficulty: Early to mid chapters Key Rewards: Instant recipe cards, throughput focused devil abilities
What to Do in Instant drink maps
- Work on Devil ability and recipe cards. Runs deal out hundreds of devil abilities and recipe cards across 9 colours, and the colours combine for stronger effects rather than each card acting alone. This system becomes critical from here on.
- Farm for Coffee machine if you haven't already. It's the key upgrade for this phase.
- Prep ingredients in the quiet opening seconds of a shift. Every second spent prepping before the first order is a second you do not lose mid rush.
- Complete all objectives before pushing to Coffee shop maps.
- Consider whether Order Taker might suit your playstyle better than Ingredient Prepper.
Phase 2 Checklist
- Devil ability and recipe cards integrated into gameplay
- Coffee machine acquired
- Instant drink maps fully cleared
- Ready for Coffee shop maps
Phase 3: Mid Game (Coffee shop maps)
Coffee themed shops where machine upkeep starts to matter. This is where the equipment check part of the loop stops being optional.
Level/Difficulty: Mid chapters Key Rewards: Coffee recipe cards, repair speed cards
What to Do in Coffee shop maps
- Master Order and drink assembly. Customers order from hundreds of recipes across juice, instant, coffee and tea categories, and the store page lists sparkling and alcoholic drinks as planned additions. This unlocks a new layer of gameplay.
- Start working toward Juice station. It's the best equipment and becomes accessible around now.
- The 9 card colours combine, so a set of three matching mid strength cards generally beats one strong card and two off colour picks.
- This area is the main skill check. If you can clear it, you're ready for late game.
- Start investing in Cleaning and equipment repair for the tactical depth you'll need going forward.
Phase 3 Checklist
- Order and drink assembly mastered
- Juice station acquired or in progress
- Coffee shop maps fully cleared
- Ready for Tea house maps
Phase 4: Late Game (Tea house maps)
Tea themed shops built around timed brewing rather than instant assembly. The queue reading skill from earlier chapters pays off here.
Level/Difficulty: Later chapters of the Early Access build Key Rewards: Tea recipe cards, higher run payouts
What to Do in Tea house maps
- Finalize your build. You should be running Order Taker or Ingredient Prepper with optimized gear.
- Juice station should be your primary. If you don't have it yet, prioritize getting it.
- Assign jobs out loud before the shift starts. Two players walking to the same station is the single most common cause of a failed local co-op run.
- House and trophy upgrades optimization starts here. Small improvements compound into massive advantages.
- Farm this area for the resources needed to push into The house hub.
Phase 4 Checklist
- Build fully optimized
- Juice station upgraded to max
- Tea house maps fully cleared
- Ready for The house hub
Phase 5: Endgame (The house hub)
The persistent space between runs. Cash buys furniture with bonuses and upgrades the house through 6 levels, and trophies can be equipped for income increases.
Level/Difficulty: All stages, between every run Key Rewards: House levels 1 to 6, furniture bonuses, equippable income trophies
What to Do in The house hub
- The house hub tests everything. Come prepared with your best build and gear.
- The store page lists 6 regular customer types and 4 special ones including thugs, thieves and critics, so learn to recognise the special ones on sight rather than treating every customer as an order.
- The endgame loop: run The house hub, optimize gear, push harder content.
- Experiment with Restocker for a fresh take once you've mastered the standard builds.
- This is where House and trophy upgrades mastery separates good players from great ones. See our tips guide for advanced strategies.
Phase 5 Checklist
- Endgame content on farm
- Best-in-slot gear acquired
- The house hub fully cleared
- Ready for challenge content
Common Progression Mistakes
- Chasing every new order instead of clearing pressure, which turns one mistake into a run ending cascade.
- Both players abandoning the front of house at the same time, leaving orders to time out unattended.
- Picking the strongest looking card every time and ending a run with 9 unmatched colours instead of a completed set.
- Skipping cleaning and repair on the top difficulty tier because they do not add score, when they are what the tier is actually testing.
- Spending house cash on decoration before the furniture pieces that carry bonuses.
Key Tips for Smooth Progression
- The pressure meter, not the clock, is what usually ends a run. Fixing one spill immediately costs less than serving two extra drinks and then dealing with three problems at once.
- Prep ingredients in the quiet opening seconds of a shift. Every second spent prepping before the first order is a second you do not lose mid rush.
- The 9 card colours combine, so a set of three matching mid strength cards generally beats one strong card and two off colour picks.

- The store page lists 6 regular customer types and 4 special ones including thugs, thieves and critics, so learn to recognise the special ones on sight rather than treating every customer as an order.
