Codename Entertainment turned Dungeons & Dragons into a formation puzzle. You slot Champions into numbered seats, their positional buffs multiply whatever sits beside them, and the party keeps fighting whether the game is open or closed. More than 140 Champions are collectible, from Drizzt Do'Urden and Minsc & Boo to the Baldur's Gate 3 cast, spread across nine campaigns and over 200 adventures. Progress comes from resetting runs for Divine Favor, not from grinding one area until it breaks.

Equipment Progression Path
The order you should acquire equipment as you progress:
- Starting gear → Enough to clear A Grand Tour of the Sword Coast
- Uncommon gear → Your first real upgrade, available early
- Rare gear → Mid-game upgrade with good scaling
- Common gear → Best-in-slot, aim for this by late game
- Upgrade to max → The power spike from max upgrades is enormous
