All ten, as soon as the slots become available. The account is the unit of progress, so an idle character still farms materials, still counts for Guild bonuses and still gives you somewhere to park a skill. There is no downside to a low level character sitting on a mining node.

Q: Which Elite class should I take first?

Take Blood Berserker or Divine Knight first on a character you already push for combat. Cooking and Gaming are both slow account wide systems, so starting them early matters more than the raw damage difference between Elite classes.

Q: Is Legends of IdleOn pay to win?

There is a gem shop and an Alchemy tab literally named p2w, but every world boss and every skill is reachable without spending. Paying mostly buys character slots, inventory space and AFK time, which compresses the calendar rather than the ceiling.

Q: How long does AFK progress last while the game is closed?

Offline gains keep accruing while you are away and are claimed on your next login, with the claim rate depending on your AFK gain percentage for that skill or for combat. Time Candy then lets you skip forward further on demand.

Q: What is the fastest way past the World 4 Troll?

Stack account wide damage rather than a single character's gear. Alchemy bubbles, cards, stamps, star signs and Post Office boxes all feed the same damage number, and most players who stall on the Troll are missing several of those rather than one item upgrade.

Lava's Legends of IdleOn keeps up to ten characters on one account and farms with every one of them at the same time, online or offline. Seven worlds run from Blunder Hills through Yum-Yum Desert, Frostbite Tundra, Hyperion Nebula, Smolderin' Plateau and Spirited Valley to Shimmerfin Deep, each gated behind a world boss. Nearly everything you earn is account wide, so the character you never log into still pays into the whole roster.

Core Combat Mechanics

1. Ten character roster

The account holds up to ten characters and all of them keep farming while the game is closed. Most accounts run a few combat characters and several dedicated skillers rather than ten copies of the same build.

Why it matters: This is the foundation of all combat. Everything else builds on this.

2. AFK gains and Time Candy

Offline time converts into class XP, skill XP and drops that you claim on login. Time Candy fast forwards your AFK timer in fixed hour chunks, which is why players hoard it for pushes right after an update.

Why it matters: The most underrated mechanic. Players who master this early have a massive advantage.

3. Class advancement tree

You start as a Beginner, pick Warrior, Archer or Mage at level 10, split again in World 2 and take an Elite class in World 4. Each Elite owns one skill, so Divine Knight decides your Gaming and Siege Breaker decides your Sailing.

Why it matters: Unlocks a new layer of gameplay depth once understood.

4. Alchemy cauldrons

World 2 opens four cauldrons named Power, Quicc, High-IQ and Kazam that brew bubbles giving permanent account bonuses. Vials, sigils and the p2w tab hang off the same screen and stay relevant all the way to World 7.

Why it matters: The tactical edge that separates average players from advanced ones.

5. Cards and star signs

Every monster drops a card that grants a passive bonus once slotted into an eight card loadout, and star signs from the World 1 telescope stack on top. The card pool is shared across the account, so farming on one character eventually equips all of them.

Why it matters: The endgame optimization mechanic. Small improvements here compound into massive gains.

Common Combat Mistakes

Button mashing: Committed attacks have recovery frames. Mashing locks you into animations.
