Q: Is there artillery in Blitz?

No. Blitz has no self propelled artillery class at all, which is one of the biggest structural differences from the PC version. Every tank in a match is a heavy, medium, light or tank destroyer.

Q: How does spotting work?

Maximum spotting distance is 445 metres. Everything within 50 metres is spotted automatically regardless of concealment, and firing removes a large part of your camouflage for five seconds while moving your hull removes a smaller part.

Q: Which nations are in the game?

The Soviet, German, American, British, French, Japanese and Chinese trees, plus a European tree that absorbed the Czech, Swedish, Polish and Italian lines in update 6.3, and a Hybrid tree of mixed and fictional designs.

Q: What should I grind first as a new player?

A single mid tier heavy line and stop there until you can hold a corner reliably. Tier for tier, heavies teach angling, sidescraping and weak spot aiming, which are the three skills that carry into every other class.

Q: Are premium rounds required to compete?

No. Standard armour piercing shells penetrate most targets you will meet at your own tier if you aim at lower plates and cupolas. Premium rounds are a credit expensive answer to specific heavily armoured tanks, not a default loadout.

World of Tanks Blitz runs 7 versus 7 tank battles with no artillery class at all, which makes it a sharply different game from the PC title it was cut down from. Tanks run from tier I to tier X across Soviet, German, American, British, French, Japanese, Chinese, European and Hybrid trees. Spotting is capped hard: nothing is visible past 445 metres, anything inside 50 metres is spotted automatically, and firing a shot strips your camouflage for five seconds.
