Supermarket Together is DeadDevsTellNoLies' co-op shop management game, released on 9 August 2024, and it runs up to 16 players inside one store. You order stock, set prices against the market, stack shelves, work the tills and chase shoplifters, with difficulty scaling to how many people are connected. Solo works, but the game is designed around the moment four players realise nobody restocked the dairy fridge.
Supermarket Together features distinct areas with increasing difficulty. This guide covers every major location in progression order: what to do, what to get, and when to move on. For the step-by-step path, see our walkthrough.
Area Progression Order
| Order | Location | Difficulty | Key Rewards | Recommended Build |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Produce Section | Store level 1 onward | Steady footfall, cheap restock cost | Restocker |
| 2 | Pharmacy Department | Mid game store levels | High margin per shelf section | Restocker |
| 3 | Electronics Department | Later store levels | Largest revenue per sale, biggest theft exposure | Cashier |
| 4 | Storage Room | All store levels | Capacity toward 49,000 items, faster restock loops | Cashier |
| 5 | Checkout Area | All store levels | Franchise Points, income throughput | Cashier |
Produce Section: Starting Area
Fruit and vegetables: low unit price, high turnover, and the shelves that empty first on a busy day. It is the department that teaches you how fast restocking has to be.

| Difficulty | Store level 1 onward |
| Key Rewards | Steady footfall, cheap restock cost |
| Recommended Build | Restocker |

- If you're struggling, read our beginner's guide.
Pharmacy Department: Early Game
Unlocked later through the Franchise board. Small items with strong margins per shelf section, which makes it excellent value for the floor space it occupies.

| Difficulty | Mid game store levels |
| Key Rewards | High margin per shelf section |

Electronics Department: Mid Game
The big ticket goods. Highest revenue per sale in the store and also the aisle shoplifters head for first, so it wants camera coverage before it wants more stock.

| Recommended Build | Cashier |
| Key Equipment | Double Fridge |

- Master Product pricing for the boss encounters.

Storage Room: Late Game
Where every delivery lands. Its racking, not your bank balance, is the real limit on how much stock you can keep moving, and upgrades push capacity toward 49,000 items.

- Shoplifters and store security mastery starts mattering here.
- Farm resources for the push into Checkout Area.
Checkout Area: Endgame
The till bank, the entrance and, once unlocked, self checkouts. Every scan feeds store levelling, so this small patch of floor generates the Franchise Points that pay for everything else.

|---|---|
| Difficulty | All store levels |
| Key Rewards | Franchise Points, income throughput |
| Recommended Build | Cashier |
| Key Equipment | Product Shelf |

Exploration Tips
- Clear areas in order: Produce Section → Pharmacy Department → Electronics Department → Storage Room → Checkout Area. Skipping areas means missing resources you'll need later.
- Check every corner: Hidden caches and secrets are often in non-obvious locations.
- Match your equipment: Some areas favor different equipment types.
- Read the walkthrough: Our walkthrough provides exact progression milestones for each area.
- Don't rush: Clearing an area fully gives more resources than speedrunning two areas.
