Supermarket Together is DeadDevsTellNoLies' co-op shop management game, released on 9 August 2024, and it runs up to 16 players inside one store. You order stock, set prices against the market, stack shelves, work the tills and chase shoplifters, with difficulty scaling to how many people are connected. Solo works, but the game is designed around the moment four players realise nobody restocked the dairy fridge.

Your choice of equipment defines your damage output and playstyle. This guide ranks every major option, explains what makes each one strong, and tells you which builds they pair best with.

S-Tier: Product Shelf

The basic floor unit, holding one product type per section. Shelf count rather than stock level is usually what caps early revenue, because an unlisted product sells nothing.

Equipment Progression Path

The order you should acquire equipment as you progress:

  1. Starting gear → Enough to clear Produce Section
  2. Double Fridge → Your first real upgrade, available early
  3. Storage Shelf → Mid-game upgrade with good scaling
  4. Product Shelf → Best-in-slot, aim for this by late game
  5. Upgrade to max → The power spike from max upgrades is enormous

Equipment Tips

  • Always upgrade your primary equipment before diversifying. One strong option beats three mediocre ones.
  • Match your equipment to your build's stat priorities for maximum scaling.
  • Franchise Points come from levelling the store through checkouts rather than from raw profit, so keeping tills moving is the fastest route to perks. A player standing at a register out-earns the same player wandering the aisles.
  • Check our tier list for how equipment rankings affect overall build effectiveness.
