KLab's free-to-play gacha action game reached Steam on 17 August 2020, five years after the 2015 Japanese mobile launch, and it shares one account across PC and phone. You fight with a team of three in real-time 3D hack-and-slash quests, and everything above that is collection management: Soul Trees, Ascension, link slots, accessories and Transcendence. KLab reported 80 million downloads by August 2023 and has kept adding characters continuously since, which is why any character tier list you read has a short shelf life. Plan around the systems, which are stable, rather than around whichever character is strongest this month.
This walkthrough takes you from your first session to endgame content. Each phase has specific goals, priorities, and milestones. New to the game? Start with our beginner's guide first.

Phase 1: Getting Started (Story Quests)
A run through the Bleach story from Rukia and Ichigo's first meeting onward, with later arcs including Thousand-Year Blood War added over time. It is the main source of early resources and the least punishing place to learn how attributes and dodging work.

What to Do in Story Quests
- Learn Five attribute wheel. The five attributes are Power in red, Technique in green, Speed in blue, Heart in purple and Mind in orange. Spend your first session getting comfortable with this.
- Pick Strong Attack Damage lead as your starting role. See our builds guide for why.
- Read the attribute cycle once and keep it in your head: Power beats Technique, Technique beats Speed, Speed beats Power. Heart and Mind are the outlier pair, each strong and weak against the other, so a Heart team against a Mind stage cuts both ways.
- Acquire your first weapons upgrade: Strong Attack or whatever's available.
- Clear all main content before moving on.

Phase 2: Early Game (Co-Op Quests)
Team up with up to three other players in real time. Because the party covers multiple attributes, you can bring a specialist rather than a generalist and let someone else cover the enemies you are weak into.
Level/Difficulty: Mid progression, one or two finished characters Key Rewards: Co-op materials, ascension fodder, event currency
What to Do in Co-Op Quests
- Work on Soul Tree and Ascension. Every character has a personal Soul Tree filled in with reinforcement stones, and a fully built one runs to 150 percent. This system becomes critical from here on.
- Farm for Strong Attack if you haven't already. It's the key upgrade for this phase.
- Check the enemy Affiliation on the quest screen before you build the team. A matching Killer ability is a straight damage increase that costs you nothing but a menu check.
- Complete all objectives before pushing to Guild Quests.
- Consider whether Normal Attack Damage lead might suit your playstyle better than Strong Attack Damage lead.
Phase 2 Checklist
- Soul Tree and Ascension integrated into gameplay
- Strong Attack acquired
- Co-Op Quests fully cleared
- Ready for Guild Quests
Phase 3: Mid Game (Guild Quests)
A timed boss rush run through your guild, with the rules changing week to week. Score depends on how you play as much as on raw power, with bonus criteria such as building combos and finishing without taking damage.
Level/Difficulty: Requires a guild and at least one fully built attacker Key Rewards: Guild rewards, ranking rewards, guild-wide bonuses
What to Do in Guild Quests
- Master Link slots and Soul Traits. Characters at 3 stars and above have link slots, but only one is open at first. This unlocks a new layer of gameplay.
- Start working toward Normal attack chains. It's the best weapon and becomes accessible around now.
- Do not feed away 3 and 4 star characters with strong Soul Traits. Damage-taken reduction and preferential attack damage traits are what fill your link slots, and a common unit with a good trait outvalues a rare one with a poor trait.
- This area is the main skill check. If you can clear it, you're ready for late game.
- Start investing in Transcendence stat slots for the tactical depth you'll need going forward.
Phase 3 Checklist
- Link slots and Soul Traits mastered
- Normal attack chains acquired or in progress
- Guild Quests fully cleared
- Ready for Epic Raids
Phase 4: Late Game (Epic Raids)
Up to six players against a single very large boss across several difficulty tiers. Bosses are fixed in attribute and Affiliation, and clearing them earns familiars that help on later raid attempts as well as medals to spend in the raid exchange.

What to Do in Epic Raids
- Finalize your build. You should be running Normal Attack Damage lead or Strong Attack Damage lead with optimized gear.
- Normal attack chains should be your primary. If you don't have it yet, prioritize getting it.
- Push one attacker to level 200 with a 150 percent Soul Tree before starting a second. Half-built characters clear nothing, and the reinforcement stone cost is the same whether you spend it on one unit or five.
- Killer abilities and Affiliations optimization starts here. Small improvements compound into massive advantages.
- Farm this area for the resources needed to push into Senkaimon Quests.
Phase 4 Checklist
- Build fully optimized
- Normal attack chains upgraded to max
- Epic Raids fully cleared
- Ready for Senkaimon Quests
Phase 5: Endgame (Senkaimon Quests)
The tower mode. Each floor puts a rule or restriction on which characters may enter, so a roster of one maximum investment team will stall. Clearing floors earns Senkaimon Medals, which buy characters and summon tickets.

What to Do in Senkaimon Quests
- Senkaimon Quests tests everything. Come prepared with your best build and gear.
- Level a character's Special Move to 5 as soon as you can afford it. That is the gate for the Extra Stat Boost Slot, which is where duplicate pulls stop being wasted.
- The endgame loop: run Senkaimon Quests, optimize gear, push harder content.
- Experiment with Attribute counter pick for a fresh take once you've mastered the standard builds.

Common Progression Mistakes
- Spreading resources across a dozen half-built characters. Reinforcement stones and ascension material are finite, and a roster of level 100 units with 60 percent Soul Trees clears less than one finished unit.
- Ignoring link slots because the interface buries them. A base character with two strong Soul Traits linked in can outperform a rarer character with empty slots, and slot souls on the Soul Tree are what open the extra slots.
- Chasing every banner. Spirit Orbs run out fast, and spending them on a character you will never build to level 200 leaves you without orbs for the one you actually want.
- Assuming Heart and Mind work like the other three. They do not sit in the Power, Technique, Speed cycle at all: they are strong and weak against each other simultaneously, so bringing Heart into a Mind stage boosts your damage and the enemy's at the same time.
- Treating this as a game you finish. It is a live-service title that has been running since 2015 with continuous character additions, so building around a permanent best team is the wrong frame.
