|---|---|---|
| Web Shooters | Removing individual enemies from a fight for good, especially near walls and railings. | The default gadget and the only one that pins enemies to walls permanently when they are stuck against a surface. |
| Impact Web | One shot removal of a priority target across an arena. | Fires a single heavy web that launches whoever it hits backwards and sticks them to whatever they land on. |
| Trip Mine | Stealth base clearing and setting up chain takedowns before a fight starts. | Sticks to a surface or an enemy and yanks anyone who walks past into whatever it is attached to. |
| Spider-Drone | Buying breathing room in an outnumbered fight or covering a corner during a base clear. | Launches a small drone that automatically fires on nearby enemies for its duration, adding pressure while you handle something else. |
| Electric Web | Shielded enemies and tightly grouped squads that ordinary webs bounce off. | Catches a target in an electric web that arcs to anyone standing close, and it goes through the riot shields that block ordinary webbing. |

Weapons Analysis
Web Shooters: The default gadget and the only one that pins enemies to walls permanently when they are stuck against a surface. Ammo refills quickly and the upgrade path raises both capacity and the number of web hits needed to cocoon a target.
Impact Web: Fires a single heavy web that launches whoever it hits backwards and sticks them to whatever they land on. It is the fastest way to deal with a rocket launcher enemy or a sniper who has just lined you up.
Trip Mine: Sticks to a surface or an enemy and yanks anyone who walks past into whatever it is attached to. Placed on a patrol route it clears guards without you being present, and stuck to an enemy it turns them into a moving trap.
Spider-Drone: Launches a small drone that automatically fires on nearby enemies for its duration, adding pressure while you handle something else. It does not kill on its own but it staggers, which is enough to keep a brute off you.
Electric Web: Catches a target in an electric web that arcs to anyone standing close, and it goes through the riot shields that block ordinary webbing. Bunched up Sable troopers behind cover are the exact case it was built for.
Meta Analysis
The current meta in Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered centers on Momentum based web-swinging and Eight gadgets on one wheel. Builds that leverage both systems outperform those that focus on only one. Our combat guide explains these interactions in depth.
What's strong right now:
- Advanced Suit with Battle Focus with Web Shooters is the benchmark. Everything else is measured against it.
- Three skill trees and suit powers builds are gaining ground as players find new combinations.
- Stark Suit with Spider-Bro remains essential for learning hard content. See the boss guide.
What's underrated:
- Classic Suit with Web Blossom is consistently overlooked despite being the most flexible option.
- Trip Mine offers excellent performance for its investment level.
What's overhyped:
- Pure Spider Armor MK II with Bulletproof builds. High ceiling but the consistency isn't there for most players.
