ONE PIECE Bounty Rush is a free to play 4v4 team brawler developed by SEGA and published by Bandai Namco, where eight players fight over treasure areas across stages drawn from Alabasta, Water Seven, Marineford, Dressrosa and Onigashima. Matches are won by holding treasure, not by racking up knockouts, which is why a Runner who never fights can matter more than an Attacker with a full kill count. Characters slot into Attacker, Defender, Runner and Supporter types, carry up to three medals each, and unlock Trait 1 at level 60 and Trait 2 at level 80.

Choosing the right role shapes your entire experience. This guide breaks down every option: what they're good at, what they struggle with, and which one matches your playstyle. For optimized builds with full gear sets, see our builds guide.

For Maximum Performance

Attacker is the top pick once you understand the game's mechanics. Pair it with Skill 1 for the strongest overall setup.

For a Challenge

Support Character Slots offers the highest skill ceiling. It's punishing when misplayed but incredibly rewarding when mastered. Only recommended after you've completed the game with another role.

For Group Play

Supporter shines in cooperative content with utility and team support capabilities.
