Omeda Studios rebuilt Epic's cancelled Paragon into this free to play third person MOBA, leaving Early Access on 30 November 2022 and hitting 1.0 on 20 August 2024. Over 45 heroes fill five roles across three lanes and a jungle, and every ability is aimed over the shoulder rather than clicked, so terrain and vaulting actually change fights. Matches revolve around two timed objectives, Fangtooth at five minutes and Orb Prime later.
Predecessor features distinct areas with increasing difficulty. This guide covers every major location in progression order: what to do, what to get, and when to move on. For the step-by-step path, see our walkthrough.
Area Progression Order
| Order | Location | Difficulty | Key Rewards | Recommended Build |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Offlane | Levels 1 to 6, solo | Solo experience, map pressure, and the frontline your team needs at Fangtooth | Midlane |
| 2 | Midlane | Levels 1 to 6, solo | Fast levels, river vision control, and gank pressure on both side lanes | Midlane |
| 3 | Duo Lane | Levels 1 to 6, two players | Carry farm, early objective control, and Support roaming windows | Offlane |
| 4 | Fangtooth Pit | From 5 minutes onward | Stacking permanent team buffs and control of the early river | Offlane |
| 5 | Orb Prime Pit | From 7 minutes, Orb Prime at 20 minutes | Minion buffs, out of combat regeneration, and the siege power to end the game | Offlane |
Offlane: Starting Area
The solo lane, usually held by a tank or bruiser who expects to be outnumbered. Farming safely under tower here is worth more than winning the lane, because a dead Offlaner hands the enemy jungler free access to the river.
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Difficulty | Levels 1 to 6, solo |
| Key Rewards | Solo experience, map pressure, and the frontline your team needs at Fangtooth |
| Recommended Build | Midlane |
| Key Equipment | Magician Crest |
What to Do Here
- Learn the basics of Crest starter items and upgrades. This is where you practice without heavy punishment.
- Collect starting resources and your first equipment upgrade.
- Clear all main content before moving to Midlane.
- If you're struggling, read our beginner's guide.
Midlane: Early Game
The shortest lane and the fastest route to both jungles, which makes it the natural rotation point. A midlaner who shoves the wave and moves is worth more than one who out farms their opponent and never leaves.

|---|---|
| Difficulty | Levels 1 to 6, solo |
| Key Rewards | Fast levels, river vision control, and gank pressure on both side lanes |
| Recommended Build | Midlane |
| Key Equipment | Magician Crest |
What to Do Here
- Focus on mastering Fangtooth and Orb Prime timers. It's critical from this point on.
- Farm for Magician Crest if you don't have it yet.
- Complete all objectives for maximum rewards.
- Prepare for the difficulty spike in Duo Lane.
Duo Lane: Mid Game
Carry and Support share this lane, and the whole early game is about keeping the Carry alive and farming. The lane sits closest to one of the objective pits, so its outcome usually decides who takes the first Fangtooth.
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Difficulty | Levels 1 to 6, two players |
| Key Rewards | Carry farm, early objective control, and Support roaming windows |
| Recommended Build | Offlane |
| Key Equipment | Magician Crest |
What to Do Here
- This is the main skill check. Bring an optimized build.
- Warrior Crest becomes accessible here. Prioritize getting it.
- Master Jungle buff camps for the boss encounters.
- Check our boss guide if you get stuck.
Fangtooth Pit: Late Game
Fangtooth first spawns at five minutes and its buffs are permanent for the rest of the match. The first kill extends the duration of Red, Blue and river buffs by 50 percent, the second adds 8 percent out of combat movement speed, and the third adds 8 percent power and armour before it becomes Primal Fangtooth.
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Difficulty | From 5 minutes onward |
| Key Rewards | Stacking permanent team buffs and control of the early river |
| Recommended Build | Offlane |
| Key Equipment | Warrior Crest |
What to Do Here
- Full build optimization is expected by this point.
- Warrior Crest should be your primary, fully upgraded.
- Five roles across three lanes mastery starts mattering here.
- Farm resources for the push into Orb Prime Pit.
Orb Prime Pit: Endgame
Mini Prime spawns at seven minutes, granting 15 to 35 physical power, 20 to 60 magical power and 10 percent bonus armour. At 20 minutes Orb Prime replaces it with far more health and damage, and its buff is what actually breaks inhibitors and the Core.
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Difficulty | From 7 minutes, Orb Prime at 20 minutes |
| Key Rewards | Minion buffs, out of combat regeneration, and the siege power to end the game |
| Recommended Build | Offlane |
| Key Equipment | Warrior Crest |
What to Do Here
- This is endgame. Best-in-slot gear and a perfected build are mandatory.
- See our boss guide for endgame fight strategies.
- The reward loop: clear content → upgrade → push harder content.
- Experiment with Support for variety once you've mastered the meta.
Exploration Tips
- Clear areas in order: Offlane → Midlane → Duo Lane → Fangtooth Pit → Orb Prime Pit. Skipping areas means missing resources you'll need later.
- Check every corner: Hidden caches and secrets are often in non-obvious locations.
- Match your equipment: Some areas favor different equipment types.
- Read the walkthrough: Our walkthrough provides exact progression milestones for each area.
- Don't rush: Clearing an area fully gives more resources than speedrunning two areas.
