Respawn's sequel picks up five years after Fallen Order and hands Cal Kestis five lightsaber stances instead of three, with only two carried at a time. The campaign moves through Coruscant, Koboh, Jedha, the Shattered Moon, Nova Garon and Tanalorr, and Koboh's Rambler's Reach Outpost fills with rescued settlers as you clear Rumors. It reached Steam in April 2023 with a rough PC port that Respawn patched for well over a year.
Your choice of weapons defines your damage output and playstyle. This guide ranks every major option, explains what makes each one strong, and tells you which builds they pair best with.

| Force Push | B | Ledge kills, staggering groups, and puzzle traversal | Knocks an enemy back, staggers a group, and doubles as traversal for the breakable walls scattered around Koboh. |
| Force Pull | B | Pulling ranged troopers out of position | Drags a single enemy into melee range or strips a shielded trooper out of formation. |

Weapons Progression Path
The order you should acquire weapons as you progress:
- Starting gear → Enough to clear Koboh
- Force Confusion → Your first real upgrade, available early
- Force Lift → Mid-game upgrade with good scaling
- Force Slow → Best-in-slot, aim for this by late game
- Upgrade to max → The power spike from max upgrades is enormous
Weapons Tips
- Always upgrade your primary weapon before diversifying. One strong option beats three mediocre ones.
- Match your weapons to your build's stat priorities for maximum scaling.
- Do not spread skill points across all five stances. Two fully built stances beat five half built ones, and Meditation Points refund every point for free, so respec whenever a boss walls you.
- Check our tier list for how weapons rankings affect overall build effectiveness.
