State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition is Undead Labs' community survival game, relaunched on 13 March 2020 with the Providence Ridge map folded in alongside Cascade Hills, Drucker County and Meagher Valley, with Trumbull Valley added later. You do not play a character, you play a settlement: every survivor has four core skills in Cardio, Wits, Fighting and Shooting plus a fifth community or quirk skill, and any of them can die permanently. The map-level goal is destroying every Plague Heart, and the run ends when your chosen leader, a Sheriff, Trader, Builder or Warlord, finishes their Legacy missions.

Cascade Hills Bosses
Area difficulty: Easy Recommended level: First community, Green or Standard Zone Recommended build: Trader with Edged Weapons
Strategy
The first bosses teach core combat mechanics. Focus on learning patterns rather than dealing damage. Survivors are individuals with traits, injuries, fatigue and opinions, and morale is driven by beds, food, standing and how recently someone died. This is your primary tool here.

Drucker County Bosses
Area difficulty: Moderate Recommended level: Second community, Standard or Dread Zone Recommended build: Trader with Edged Weapons

Early game bosses test your understanding of Plague Hearts and Blood Plague. Players who skipped learning this mechanic will hit a wall here.

Meagher Valley Bosses
