Parallel 45 Games released Tower Dominion on 7 May 2025. It is a roguelike tower defence where you shape the ground as well as the defence: between waves you expand the map with new terrain zones, and the paths you carve decide where the alien waves walk toward your HQ. Three factions, the Iron Dragoons, the Lions of Ravelski and the Pargan Assault Group, field ten commanders each, and the run ends the moment HQ life reaches zero. Difficulty runs Recruit, Veteran, Elite and War, and clearing War unlocks the endless Frontier mode.

Resource management and crafting determine how quickly your power scales. This guide covers what to prioritize, where to farm, and how to avoid wasting resources on the wrong upgrades.

Resource Farming by Area

Key resources: Adjacency bonuses for close support buildings, the Iron Dragoons Officers Quarters buff, and the only life total that matters Farming efficiency: Low value per run, but safe and consistent

Upgrade Path

Early Game (Main headquarters to Battlefront)

  1. Upgrade your starting equipment to functional level
  2. Craft basic defensive gear
  3. Save specialty materials, since you'll need them later
  4. Focus on Durendal cannon once accessible

Mid Game (Entry point)

  1. Push Durendal cannon to mid-level upgrades
  2. Start collecting materials for Defender m5
  3. Craft situational consumables for boss fights
  4. Upgrade build-specific gear pieces

Late Game (Camp Alpha to Classified site)

  1. Max out Defender m5. This is your top priority
  2. Complete your build's core gear set
  3. Craft endgame consumables
  4. Optional: upgrade secondary equipment for variety

Crafting Mistakes to Avoid

  1. Spreading upgrades across multiple equipment: Focus one weapon to max before diversifying.
  2. Hoarding materials: Use them. The game provides enough if you farm efficiently.
  3. Upgrading the wrong gear: Check our builds guide before investing.
  4. Ignoring Entry point farming: This area has the best resource-to-time ratio in mid-game.
  5. Crafting consumables too early: Save specialty materials for late-game recipes.

Resource Efficiency Tips

  • Enemies are organised into tiers, with Tier 0 appearing first and a higher tier introduced every 10 waves. That means a defence that comfortably holds wave 19 can collapse at wave 21, so build for the tier break rather than the wave in front of you.
  • Farm Entry point during mid-game for the best return on time
  • Check the walkthrough to know when each resource becomes available
  • Match your farming route to your build. Some classes farm faster in certain areas
