Parallel 45 Games released Tower Dominion on 7 May 2025. It is a roguelike tower defence where you shape the ground as well as the defence: between waves you expand the map with new terrain zones, and the paths you carve decide where the alien waves walk toward your HQ. Three factions, the Iron Dragoons, the Lions of Ravelski and the Pargan Assault Group, field ten commanders each, and the run ends the moment HQ life reaches zero. Difficulty runs Recruit, Veteran, Elite and War, and clearing War unlocks the endless Frontier mode.

Tower Dominion features distinct areas with increasing difficulty. This guide covers every major location in progression order: what to do, what to get, and when to move on. For the step-by-step path, see our walkthrough.

Main headquarters: Starting Area

The structure the entire run defends. It has multiple entrances, each fed by a battlefront, and the run ends when its life reaches zero. Several buildings interact with it directly, including the Mirador's close support upgrade which gives bonus effects when placed adjacent to HQ.

Battlefront: Early Game

Each battlefront is a distinct path from the map edge to the HQ. Starting count depends on difficulty, which is the main reason Elite and War feel disproportionately harder than Veteran rather than just numerically tougher.

Entry point: Mid Game

The specific tile where enemies enter the battlefield. Enemy composition is revealed three waves in advance, or five with Tank Commander Beryt, so the entry point plus the preview tells you exactly what is walking in and from where.

Camp Alpha: Late Game

One of the neutral sites that can appear on an expansion tile rather than being built by you. Neutral buildings appear based on the Discovery stat and contribute resources including Supply and Recon, which makes rerolling for a tile that contains one a legitimate use of Recon.

What to Do Here

  • Full build optimization is expected by this point.
  • Defender m5 should be your primary, fully upgraded.
  • Supply, Tech and Recon mastery starts mattering here.
  • Farm resources for the push into Classified site.

Classified site: Endgame

Another neutral structure found during expansion. Like other neutral buildings its appearance is governed by Discovery, and its value is that it arrives already built, which in a game where every blueprint slot is contested is worth more than the raw numbers.

What to Do Here

  • This is endgame. Best-in-slot gear and a perfected build are mandatory.
  • See our boss guide for endgame fight strategies.
  • The reward loop: clear content → upgrade → push harder content.
  • Experiment with Captain Seculdi for variety once you've mastered the meta.

Exploration Tips

  1. Clear areas in order: Main headquarters → Battlefront → Entry point → Camp Alpha → Classified site. Skipping areas means missing resources you'll need later.
  2. Check every corner: Hidden caches and secrets are often in non-obvious locations.
  3. Match your equipment: Some areas favor different equipment types.
  4. Read the walkthrough: Our walkthrough provides exact progression milestones for each area.
  5. Don't rush: Clearing an area fully gives more resources than speedrunning two areas.
