Clicker Heroes is Playsaurus' idle game where you click a monster, hire heroes to do the clicking for you, and then wipe everything the moment resetting is faster than continuing. Progress is measured in zones, with a boss every fifth zone on a 30 second kill timer. The real game sits behind two reset buttons: Ancients bought with Hero Souls, and Outsiders bought with Ancient Souls.
Your choice of equipment defines your damage output and playstyle. This guide ranks every major option, explains what makes each one strong, and tells you which builds they pair best with.
Equipment Rankings
| Equipment | Tier | Best For | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Siyalatas, Ancient of Abandon | S | Any idle build, summoned as early as possible | Adds idle damage per level as long as you are not clicking, which makes it the single most valuable Ancient for hands off play. |
| Libertas, Ancient of Freedom | A | Idle gold income alongside Siyalatas | The gold half of the idle pair, raising gold earned while idle so hero levels keep climbing without input. |
| Fragsworth, Ancient of Wrath | A | Active clicking builds and boss burst windows | Adds 20 percent base click damage per level, making it the foundation of every active build. |
| Mammon, Ancient of Greed | B | Every build, once the core damage Ancients are running | A flat 5 percent gold increase per level that applies whether you are idle or active. |
| Atman, Ancient of Souls | B | Anyone planning to ascend, which is everyone | Raises the chance that a boss past zone 100 is primal, from the 25 percent base toward 100 percent. |
S-Tier: Siyalatas, Ancient of Abandon

Equipment Progression Path
The order you should acquire equipment as you progress:
- Starting gear → Enough to clear Zone 100
- Libertas, Ancient of Freedom → Your first real upgrade, available early
- Fragsworth, Ancient of Wrath → Mid-game upgrade with good scaling
- Siyalatas, Ancient of Abandon → Best-in-slot, aim for this by late game
- Upgrade to max → The power spike from max upgrades is enormous
Equipment Tips
- Always upgrade your primary equipment before diversifying. One strong option beats three mediocre ones.
- Match your equipment to your build's stat priorities for maximum scaling.
- Keep Siyalatas and Libertas within one level of each other. The idle pair is designed to be levelled together and pushing one far ahead wastes souls that would return more on the other.
- Check our tier list for how equipment rankings affect overall build effectiveness.
