Knight Online is an old school PvP MMORPG credited to Noah System and Mgame and published by NTT Game, which put it on Steam on 25 January 2016. Two nations, El Morad and Karus, fight over the Adonis Continent, and nearly every system in the game feeds that war. Moradon is the one town where both sides stand together without swinging, and the Magic Anvil sitting in it decides whether your weapon reaches +8 or turns to dust. Progression is deliberately slow and the war events run on a server clock, so the players who get the most out of it are the ones who plan sessions around the timetable.
This walkthrough takes you from your first session to endgame content. Each phase has specific goals, priorities, and milestones. New to the game? Start with our beginner's guide first.

See our maps guide for detailed area breakdowns.
Phase 1: Getting Started (Moradon)
The capital of the Adonis Continent and the only neutral ground, where El Morad and Karus players trade, form clans and queue for events without attacking each other. The Magic Anvil and the Power Up Store both sit here, which makes it the economic centre of the server.
Level/Difficulty: All levels Key Rewards: Magic Anvil upgrades, Trina's Piece, clan registration, event portals
What to Do in Moradon
- Learn El Morad versus Karus nation war. Every character belongs to El Morad, the human kingdom built around El Morad Castle, or Karus, the Tuarek nation around Luferson Castle. Spend your first session getting comfortable with this.
- Pick Rogue as your starting build. See our builds guide for why.
- Quests give better experience and gear than grinding below level 30, so clear the Moradon and starting kingdom quest chains before you settle into a spawn.
- Acquire your first equipment upgrade: Two-handed axe or whatever's available.
- Clear all main content before moving on.
Phase 1 Checklist
- Understand El Morad versus Karus nation war fundamentals
- Rogue selected and functional
- Moradon main content cleared
- Ready for Eslant
Phase 2: Early Game (Eslant)
Each nation has its own Eslant and cannot enter the other's, so it is the closest thing Knight Online has to a safe high level grind. Monster density and drop quality both step up sharply compared with the starting kingdoms.
Level/Difficulty: Level 60 and above Key Rewards: High level armour and weapon drops, upgrade materials
What to Do in Eslant
- Work on Magic Anvil upgrading to +10. The Magic Anvil in Moradon takes an upgrade scroll plus your item and rolls for a higher plus value, up to +10. This system becomes critical from here on.
- Farm for Two-handed axe if you haven't already. It's the key upgrade for this phase.
- Never take a weapon you cannot replace to the anvil without Trina's Piece, because a failure at +7 or above destroys the item completely rather than dropping it a level.
- Complete all objectives before pushing to Ronark Land.
- Consider whether Warrior might suit your playstyle better than Rogue.
Phase 2 Checklist
- Magic Anvil upgrading to +10 integrated into gameplay
- Two-handed axe acquired
- Eslant fully cleared
- Ready for Ronark Land
Phase 3: Mid Game (Ronark Land)
The Colony Zone and the main war map, open to players above level 55 and home to the boss Felankor. Nation buffs, National Points and clan grade all move fastest here, and it is where most of the server's PvP actually happens.
Level/Difficulty: Level 55 and above Key Rewards: National Points, Felankor drops, clan grade progress
What to Do in Ronark Land
- Master National Points and clan grades. Killing a player of the enemy nation awards National Points and dying to one takes them away, so NP is the closest thing the game has to a public scoreboard. This unlocks a new layer of gameplay.
- Start working toward One-handed sword. It's the best equipment and becomes accessible around now.
- Ardream is only open between levels 30 and 59, so spend time there before you outlevel it or you will never see that version of nation war again.
- This area is the main skill check. If you can clear it, you're ready for late game.
- Start investing in Scheduled war events for the tactical depth you'll need going forward.
Phase 3 Checklist
- National Points and clan grades mastered
- One-handed sword acquired or in progress
- Ronark Land fully cleared
- Ready for Ardream
Phase 4: Late Game (Ardream)
A smaller war zone restricted to players between level 30 and 59, built so newer characters can learn nation war without being farmed by geared veterans. Once you hit 60 the zone closes to you permanently, so use it while you can.
Level/Difficulty: Level 30 to 59 Key Rewards: Early National Points, low level PvP practice
What to Do in Ardream
- Finalize your build. You should be running Warrior or Rogue with optimized gear.
- One-handed sword should be your primary. If you don't have it yet, prioritize getting it.
- Keep a second lower upgrade weapon in your bag for Ronark Land trips, because losing a +8 to a bad fight hurts far more than losing a +5.
- Second job change at level 60 optimization starts here. Small improvements compound into massive advantages.
- Farm this area for the resources needed to push into Bifrost.
Phase 4 Checklist
- Build fully optimized
- One-handed sword upgraded to max
- Ardream fully cleared
- Ready for Bifrost
Phase 5: Endgame (Bifrost)
Access is decided by a siege on the Bifrost Monument in the middle of Ronark Land, and the nation that lands the killing blow gets in. Inside is a timed hunting window with drops good enough that both sides organise specifically for the monument fight.
Level/Difficulty: Level 55 and above, gated by the monument siege Key Rewards: Timed access hunting, rare drops for the winning nation
What to Do in Bifrost
- Bifrost tests everything. Come prepared with your best build and gear.
- Priests are the first target every enemy caller names, so as a Priest you should stand behind your Warriors and never chase kills.
- The endgame loop: run Bifrost, optimize gear, push harder content.
- Experiment with Kurian for a fresh take once you've mastered the standard builds.
- This is where Second job change at level 60 mastery separates good players from great ones. See our tips guide for advanced strategies.
Phase 5 Checklist
- Endgame content on farm
- Best-in-slot gear acquired
- Bifrost fully cleared
- Ready for challenge content
Common Progression Mistakes
- Grinding monsters from level 1 instead of running the quest chain, which is slower and leaves you without the free gear the quests hand out.
- Pushing a main weapon from +7 upward without Trina's Piece and losing the item outright on a single failed roll.
- Walking into Ronark Land solo without a Priest, then wondering why every group fight ends before you land a second skill.
- Picking a nation based on the class list rather than on server population, which leaves you in the outnumbered side of every war event.
- Ignoring the event timetable and logging in at random hours, which means missing Castle Siege War, Border Defense War and the Lunar War rewards.
Key Tips for Smooth Progression
- Quests give better experience and gear than grinding below level 30, so clear the Moradon and starting kingdom quest chains before you settle into a spawn.
- Never take a weapon you cannot replace to the anvil without Trina's Piece, because a failure at +7 or above destroys the item completely rather than dropping it a level.
- Ardream is only open between levels 30 and 59, so spend time there before you outlevel it or you will never see that version of nation war again.
- Keep a second lower upgrade weapon in your bag for Ronark Land trips, because losing a +8 to a bad fight hurts far more than losing a +5.
- Priests are the first target every enemy caller names, so as a Priest you should stand behind your Warriors and never chase kills.
