KovaaK's is an aim trainer, not a game. There is no campaign, no enemies with behaviour worth learning and no progression outside your own scores. It arrived on Steam on 3 April 2018, was later retitled KovaaK 2.0, sells for around 9.99 US dollars, and carries more than 200,000 community-made scenarios alongside the sandbox, benchmark and workshop tooling.

Picking the right build determines how your experience plays out. These builds are ranked by overall effectiveness, factoring in damage, survivability, gear requirements, and how well they scale into endgame. New to the game? Start with our beginner's guide first.

  4. Try Tracking-first shooter for a fresh experience once you've mastered the basics

Gearing Tips

  • Invest in your primary weapon first, since it gives the biggest power spike. See our weapons guide for rankings.
  • Set your KovaaK's cm/360 to exactly match your game. Either use the built-in profile for your title or calculate it from your in-game sensitivity, the game's yaw value and your DPI. Training at a different cm/360 builds muscle memory you cannot use.
  • Twenty to thirty focused minutes a day beats a three hour session on a Sunday. Aim is a motor skill, and the limiting factor is how many quality repetitions you can produce before your accuracy degrades, not how many hours you can sit there.
  • Don't spread upgrade resources across multiple builds until endgame
