2K released PGA TOUR 2K25 on 28 February 2025 with Tiger Woods, Max Homa and Matt Fitzpatrick sharing the cover. The headline change is EvoSwing, which grades every shot on four separate components rather than one meter reading: Contact, Rhythm, Transition and Swing Path. It ships with 27 licensed courses, and MyCAREER lets you play major championships for the first time in the series.

Equipment Progression Path
The order you should acquire equipment as you progress:
- Starting gear → Enough to clear THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass
- 3-Wood → Your first real upgrade, available early
- 7-Iron → Mid-game upgrade with good scaling
- Driver → Best-in-slot, aim for this by late game
- Upgrade to max → The power spike from max upgrades is enormous
Equipment Tips
- Always upgrade your primary equipment before diversifying. One strong option beats three mediocre ones.
- Match your equipment to your build's stat priorities for maximum scaling.
- Read which EvoSwing component failed rather than just seeing the shot go offline. Contact, Rhythm, Transition and Swing Path each break differently, and slowing your backswing does nothing for a path error.
