Farm Together 2 left Early Access on 30 May 2025, a little over a year after Milkstone Studios opened it on 7 May 2024. It keeps the first game's real time clock, so crops keep growing while the game is closed and a full in-game season passes in roughly 17 minutes. There is no combat and no fail state; the entire game is one levelling curve where Farm Level gates every seed, animal and building you can buy.
Boss fights are where Farm Together 2 tests everything you've learned. This guide covers strategies for bosses across all areas, organized by progression order. For general combat techniques, see our combat guide.

Your farm plots Bosses
Area difficulty: Easy Recommended level: Farm Level 1 to the high levels; full expansion is a very long project Recommended build: Trees with Sprinklers
Strategy
The first bosses teach core combat mechanics. Focus on learning patterns rather than dealing damage. Crops, trees and ponds advance on the wall clock rather than on turns, and progress continues while the game is shut. This is your primary tool here.
Key tips:
- Don't rush. Learn the attack patterns first.
- Use Real time growth with offline progress to create safe windows.
- Sprinklers is enough to handle everything here.
The town Bosses
Area difficulty: Moderate Recommended level: First stalls from Farm Level 2 onward Recommended build: Trees with Sprinklers
Strategy
Early game bosses test your understanding of Three currencies: coins, diamonds and medals. Players who skipped learning this mechanic will hit a wall here.
Key tips:
- Three currencies: coins, diamonds and medals is critical for these fights.
- Farm Sprinklers upgrades if you're struggling.
- Consider switching to Trees if your current setup isn't working.
The bank Bosses
Area difficulty: Hard Recommended level: Mid-game Recommended build: Crops with The tractor
Strategy
Mid-game bosses are the major skill check. They combine multiple mechanics and punish players who rely on a single strategy.
Key tips:
- You need both Real time growth with offline progress and Farm Level gates every unlock mastery.
- The tractor makes a significant difference. Get it before attempting these.
- See our combat guide for advanced techniques.
Ponds Bosses
Area difficulty: Very Hard Recommended level: Salmon opens at Farm Level 6, Emerald Swordfish around 48 Recommended build: Crops with The tractor
Strategy
Late-game bosses are serious challenges. Build optimization matters as much as mechanical skill.
Key tips:
- Make sure your build is fully optimized.
- The tractor at max upgrade is recommended.
- Study each boss's attack patterns. Most have 2-3 phases.
Your house interior Bosses
Area difficulty: Extreme Recommended level: Available early, expanded by later purchases Recommended build: Crops with The tractor
Strategy
Endgame bosses are the ultimate test. They require mastery of all combat systems and an optimized build.
Key tips:
- Top-tier build with best-in-slot gear is mandatory.
- Master every mechanic. See our combat guide.
- These fights reward patience and pattern recognition above all else.
General Boss Tips
- Learn before you fight: Spend your first attempt observing attack patterns. Don't try to win on attempt one.
- Match your build: Some bosses favor certain builds over others. Don't be afraid to switch.
- Upgrade your equipment: A max-upgraded The tractor trivializes fights that seem impossible with weaker gear.
- Use Real time growth with offline progress: The core combat mechanic is your best defensive tool in every boss fight.
- Check the walkthrough: Our walkthrough tells you when you're ready for each boss.
