Farm Together 2 left Early Access on 30 May 2025, a little over a year after Milkstone Studios opened it on 7 May 2024. It keeps the first game's real time clock, so crops keep growing while the game is closed and a full in-game season passes in roughly 17 minutes. There is no combat and no fail state; the entire game is one levelling curve where Farm Level gates every seed, animal and building you can buy.

Choosing the right build shapes your entire experience. This guide breaks down every option: what they're good at, what they struggle with, and which one matches your playstyle. For optimized builds with full gear sets, see our builds guide.

For Maximum Performance

Crops is the top pick once you understand the game's mechanics. Pair it with The tractor for the strongest overall setup.

For a Challenge

Flowers offers the highest skill ceiling. It's punishing when misplayed but incredibly rewarding when mastered. Only recommended after you've completed the game with another build.

For Group Play

Fish shines in cooperative content with utility and team support capabilities.
