Farm Together 2 left Early Access on 30 May 2025, a little over a year after Milkstone Studios opened it on 7 May 2024. It keeps the first game's real time clock, so crops keep growing while the game is closed and a full in-game season passes in roughly 17 minutes. There is no combat and no fail state; the entire game is one levelling curve where Farm Level gates every seed, animal and building you can buy.
Resource management and crafting determine how quickly your power scales. This guide covers what to prioritize, where to farm, and how to avoid wasting resources on the wrong upgrades.

The order you should invest resources:

- Upgrade your starting equipment to functional level
- Craft basic defensive gear
- Save specialty materials, since you'll need them later
- Focus on Sprinklers once accessible
Mid Game (The bank)
- Push Sprinklers to mid-level upgrades
- Start collecting materials for The tractor
- Craft situational consumables for boss fights

Late Game (Ponds to Your house interior)
- Max out The tractor. This is your top priority

- Spreading upgrades across multiple equipment: Focus one weapon to max before diversifying.
- Hoarding materials: Use them. The game provides enough if you farm efficiently.

Resource Efficiency Tips
- Buy the Garage the moment you hit Farm Level 2. The tractor changes how every later decision plays out, and a farm laid out before you own one usually needs replanting to line up with the 3x3 work area.
