Sephiria is a top down action roguelite from TEAM HORAY, the studio behind Dungreed. You play a bunny climbing a demon filled tower to stop Bunnyville being wiped out on the Day of Destiny, and it left Early Access on 31 July 2026 after starting that run on 3 April 2025. A full climb covers six chapters, more than 60 enemy types and over 10 bosses, with six weapons carrying more than 50 upgrades each.

Choosing the right build shapes your entire experience. This guide breaks down every option: what they're good at, what they struggle with, and which one matches your playstyle. For optimized builds with full gear sets, see our builds guide.

Which Build Should You Pick?

For Beginners

Critical strike build is the clear winner. It's forgiving, teaches core mechanics, and remains competitive into endgame. Follow our beginner's guide for the best first-session experience.

For Maximum Performance

Ice element build is the top pick once you understand the game's mechanics. Pair it with Sword and Shield for the strongest overall setup.

For a Challenge

Physical melee build offers the highest skill ceiling. It's punishing when misplayed but incredibly rewarding when mastered. Only recommended after you've completed the game with another build.

For Group Play

Companion build shines in cooperative content with utility and team support capabilities.
